Chicken & Spinach Burgers

Paleo, Ketogenic, AIP and Newport Beach Cleanse friendly


~2 teaspoons coconut oil

~1lb ground chicken (or turkey)

~1 large handful of organic spinach, finely chopped (approximately 1 cup)

~1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

~1 teaspoon garlic powder

~1 teaspoon onion powder

~1 teaspoon turmeric

~1 ½ teaspoon oregano (dried or fresh)

~1/2 teaspoon Celtic sea salt


~Preheat oil over medium heat in a large cast iron skillet.  Mix ground chicken, red onion, spinach, and seasoning in a large bowl until well combined. Divide into 6 equal portions and form burger patties.

~Cook burgers for 4-5 minutes per side or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.  Serve warm over in a lettuce wrap.


Makes 5-6 burgers
